In a related aside, do you actually find Freud's theories on the stages of psychosexual development and their relation to adult personality traits to be persuasive?
My theory is that it's pretty much all bunk, but that Freud's labels endure in the common parlance because of their undeniable attraction to those who go in for the Beavis/Butthead "huh huh, huh huh - you said ANAL" factor.
