I think it's two they're missing. Basically your option but with the addition of "so I will just sit here" and "I do not understand, but wish to continue anyway."
Or, as some social experiment, they could just tally the amount of people who click the plain ol' "I do not understand." It would be interesting to see how many people simply gave up on getting to the blog and just wanted to share with Google that they didn't understand.
