Where is your direction?

well I look up into the big, dark sky
the clouds are heavy but passing me by
and your body looks like a sun
we could get up and leave everyone
and my heart turns black and blue
but there's one thing I can't do
now that I've given you my hand
and I walk in your direction again

where is your direction?
where is your direction?

your direction is nowhere but here
I know I love you but I'm full of fear
and I wake in the morning I wake up from a dream
dream of the future and dream of the past
I am stuck in the middle and looking at you
but now I feel all it inside my heart
and I see you standing in front of me
I know where you are and I know that I am here

I think I know for a while
where my head is, and where I will die
and the day comes when we are gone
your breath is warm but it has been so long
and my heart turns black and blue
but there's one thing I can do
now then I've given you my hand
and I walk in your direction again

where is your direction?
where is your direction?

your direction is nowhere but here
I know I love you but I am full of fear
and I wake in the morning I wake up from a dream
I dream of the future and I dream of the past
I am stuck in the middle and looking at you
but now I feel it all inside my heart
and I see you standing right in front of me
I know where you are and I know that I am here

that I am here

that I am here

Lovely.

When you first posted "Nice People" I did some interneting and saw that they had an EP "The Castle Is Gone" with 5 tracks on it. I couldn't find a website that would let me purchase an actual CD so I had to resort to iTunes which has them all.

This article I found at the time was interesting

http://www.hearya.com/2009/04/28/chief-the-castle-is-gone-ep-album-review/

written in April this year it says "The boys have recently signed to a well known label and are set to put out their debut later this year"

intriguing...

That's good news! Or, old news but good news. Or, good news that fell through, perhaps.

I love the video for "Nice People" - so cinematic!

I have never bought anything from iTunes. I want a physical object! Gr.

YA GOT THAT DAMN RIGHT!

Chief is great, and I expect great things from them.

This video is so cool - apparently these reels and reels of undeveloped home movies were discovered and developed, nobody knows whose they are. Just these interlinked slices of life, hovering ghostly, retrieved from the devouring maw of time.

It's haunting how much life just fades, beginning the moment we look away.
