Who the FUCK CARES that it "took guts"? Who cares if it took guts, what a person did? How about: what good was it, what they did? Was it good, or was it lame, or was it kind of shitty, or was it maybe reprehensible?
When you do something lame, shitty, or reprehensible...the fact that maybe it "took guts" is NOT points in your favor. It's points against. Because here you had strong factors to deter you from doing the lame, shitty, reprehensible thing you did - and you just went ahead and did it anyway!
