Openness to Gardening

Every now and then, I go out back and toss a vegetable into the garden. Not often. I don't want the garden to feel pressured.

I love having a garden. I have a garden! In the future I have a garden. It's out back. In the future it's out back, if you go out there now it doesn't look much like a garden. But you can see where the garden goes. Still, I call it: "the garden." I think it's important to set that hopeful tone. It gets the positive energy churning around. It's a sign of my openness to it, my willingness to let it become a garden. It's important to fill your soul with an openness to abundance, in order that the universe can respond by filling your life with abundance! Or at least, your garden with vegetables.

I think getting out there, hunched over, doing all the satisfying, hours-long back-breaking work is very buildy-uppy, and important, and I'm looking forward to it. But I just think that even more important than that is to have within one's self that openness. I just threw another cucumber out there.

I'll check on it in a couple weeks.
