We are heading into our summer storm season here, much needed after years of drought. I was talking to my dad last night and I said "It looks like rain", he said, "Send 'er down, Hughie!", I said "er sorry, what?, have you gone mad?", he said "haven't you heard that expression before?", I said, "no, you just made it up", he said, "no, it's an old expression, I can't believe you've never heard it"
You know what? I completely forgot about this post.
You know why? Because after two titanic claps, only one of which I saw the flash for (it was BRIGHT) - that was it! That was all the thunder n' lightning we got!
