A lot of the time, when I'm really cooking on writing a red-hot passel of songs, a crowd will gather 'round just watching me go, and chanting "LYR-ICS! LYR-ICS!" with a rhythmic clapalong clap.
Which bothers me a bit. I know my lyrics are top notch! I realize that, yes. But I think the tunes I come up with are every bit worthy of equal notice! And NOBODY ever really gives it up for that aspect.
It's always about the damn lyrics.
