I prefer the earlier YouTube version with the whole band. I think. Well, I love the way this one starts off, but when it's just him on the middle part, it gets a little singsongy/repetitive and not enough. It sounds like other instruments should come in and build on it. And he's too weak on the bridge alone, and I don't want him to be, because you can sense it should and can sound different.
I guess I prefer the band version in one way, this in another. I'd like to hear the band version starting off the way this one does.
This was from a solo show someplace (England?). As I understand it, this is the final song structure (and final lyrics, I presume), but on the album it will be played with the full band. Neil's comments lead me to believe they're giving it a similar sound/treatment to the earlier band clip, only with this verse structure and etc.
