You know when I was a kid, I thought Superman had to say "Up, Up and AWAY!!!" in order to be able to take off. I thought it was like, a trigger of some kind.

Now that I'm older of course, I realize how ridiculous that is. Just from a purely scientific standpoint.

I always wondered if he could fly without his tights? You know, on a really hot day all that lycra makes your unmentionables sweat up a storm, so really, could he lose the tights and still you know...retain his powers? Or are the tights THE KEY? I need to know.

I think he can! I think he can do all his super-deeds even without his super-duds.

But the tights are still very important.
