Now you've gone and made me start thinking about sandwich garnishes. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen an olive. Pickles, but not skewered on top, more like hanging out on the side. I always like the little sword, not the toothpick with the plastic ruffles.

The olive seems out of place.
You're probably right. I just needed it to complete the visual composition.
On the other hand, maybe it's the jelly that is out of place!
