Is A Hot Dog A Sandwich? Is A Hamburger A Sandwich?

Fuck off with that question! You keep your dirty semantics off my damned sandwich you son of a bitch!!

And if that doesn't clear it up for you, leave a comment and I'll give it to you some more!

Hear hear! And if anyone tries to tell me you can't make a sandwich with pita bread, they can fuck the fuck right off.

To all the pita-bread naysayers out there, me & Mel raise our voices in conjunction with all women and men of sense and reason in a hearty and harmonious chorus of "FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Mel - someone might say, "The burrito is the Mexican-cuisine analog of pita-based sandwiches such as the souvlaki sandwich or the gyro, and should therefore be considered to be a sandwich." What would you say to that???

I would strongly and unequivocally concur! I would say “Si hombre!”. Any one who suggests otherwise is pedantic, narrow-minded and quite possibly a dirty, rotten racist.

I’m sure when John Montagu told his valet to bring him some meat inserted between two pieces of bread he had no desire for the name of his peerage title to be used in any restrictive or repressive way. I’m sure he would raise his goblet of claret in a resounding “hurrah!” to any combination of baked dough and fillings.

So strongly do I feel about Mexican food, I recently purchased this shirt…

I missed out on also ordering a “Taco: Nature’s Sandwich” one as they’d run out.

Dang it. Blogger ate your comment, Mel!

I have the text from the comment-review e-mail so I will post it that way.

That's a kickass shirt, Mel, but I have to ask - it just seems weird you'd be eating Mexican food down there. You people have no Mexico to your South!

You should be eating Antarctican tacos.

It amuses me to think of Blogger eating my comment on sandwiches!

We call people from NSW or Victoria “Mexicans” because we are hilarious like that. And there’s nothing I like to do more than devour an enchilada or dump some salsa sauce and sour cream on corn chips and called it nachos.

I also bought this awesome Run DMC shirt, Sadly that has nothing to do with food.
