Today's Guess The Shakespeare Quote As Reinterpreted By My Buddy Rob:
"Lately it's like...all the fuckin' fun's gone. I can't figure out why! I even stopped working out. The world's a barren fuckin' rock; the air stinks. I mean, people are awesome, right? But lately it's like...what the fuck do I care, for all you dudes? Nope, nor even for the bitches."

and then Witnail repeats "nor women neither", intriguingly enough.
Hamlet Act II, Scene II.
Act II, Scene II
Can't remember the rest.

Tim, I'm sorry I can't give credit for the partial. I give full leniency for variant punctuation, but I need the full quote (at least, the full portion being paraphrased) and attribution, with no words wrong.
I'm a fuckin' dick when it comes to how big a stickler I am on these quizzes.
Nonetheless, I'm glad to see you taking a crack at it!! Welcome, welcome.
Bear in mind, the trick is to be able to place the quote. Once you place it, nobody but nobody expects you to have it memorized Everybody can, does, and would need to consult the text, to nail the wording.
Hamlet!
Mel, I have to say, Shakespeare nut that you are, and the other players seem to be here sometimes, gone others...if you keep applying yourself, you may run away with it again! That'd have to win more than just a clock.
Other favourite moments from Shakespeare:
"Flies to wanton boys would smell as sweet!"
“To be, or not to be: shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”
“Out, damn Yorwick!”
“Alas, poor Ophelia: I am not what I am.”
"A horse! A horse! A very palpable horse!”
“We are such stuff as biomechanical killing cyborgs are made on.”
Actually I’m not 100 per cent sure about the last one – I know Shakespeare did write about biomechanical killing cyborgs but the first part of the quote is a bit doubtful, my memory may have put that in after the fact.
"I am ... haunted by the conviction that the divine William is the biggest and most successful fraud ever practiced on a patient world"
That's some Henry James, for yo face :-)
But the alluring, remote chance of two clocks ...
Hot damn!
WHAT'S THE TIME, GIRL!?
Punctuation/capitalization approximate.
@Mel - funny, I was reading the wikipedia on that very question, earlier today! Very balanced presentation.
I am a bit despondant. I spent probably two years scouring libraries and second hand stores, hiring out and purchasing books to read on every solid and half-baked anti-Stratfordian theory out there, when I could have just read wiki! But it certainly is extremely interesting.
My theory of choice is the Christophe Marlowe one, which is why I joined the Christopher Marlowe would kick William Shakespeare's arse any day facebook page

Oh look, there, I've turned into a humourless ranting old man and ruined the vibe. Sorry guys.
