On this one, I'll need an example to believe such a thing has or ever could happen. Apparent cases I've seen are all failures of skepticism or methodology. ..which amounts to the same thing: insufficient skepticism in the face of insufficient evidence, in the service of a shit theory.

What value, false certainty? Why rush to judgment, when reality has eternity to discover itself to us?
