All my skin is peeling off. Weird!
Can I even go to work tomorrow? I mean, like this? It doesn't hurt or anything - I guess, I don't mean all my skin. The whole thing's not peeling off in slabs, leaving muscle showing, it's just - what do they call it. The epidermis. It's the epidermis that's peeling off. The dermis is still right there! But it doesn't look right. It seems kind of angry pink, and drier than it should be. And it doesn't hurt. Shouldn't it hurt? It feels really weird and hard to describe when I touch it, but it doesn't hurt.
The epidermis - that grows back, right? What do other people do when this happens?
It's patches mainly, creeping patches. My fingertips are ok, so I can touch it to feel it, but it's like the dermis itself - no sensation. But it feels weird to my fingers.
This is so weird. Should I go to work tomorrow? It's just both arms, patches, and my midsection and part of my right leg at this point. It doesn't seem to be progressing that fast. I could just wear long sleeves. I've got a shitload of stuff to do tomorrow! But if it reaches my face, I'd feel really weird showing up like that.
Hang on a minute, I'm uploading pictures.
Man, I just realized, if this reaches my fingers I'm not even sure if I can type anymore! And THEN what good would I be to work? I mean, I'm not a typist. I am not employed as a typist. But, you know, e-mails. Very important e-mails. A lot of seemingly casual back-and-forth can be imbued with the full force of written agreement via the good ol' humble e-mail, and when it comes to work? MAN! I'm the subtle master of that.
But this skin thing is kind of gross. Should I go in to work tomorrow?
What am I supposed to do with all these peeled-off slabs? Why's it so dry? Ew, look at the underside! - it's all, reddish cracks on pink. It looks like desiccated sushi tuna.
