Awww, adorbs! It's a little baby Jesus peanut!

This picture made me wonder if people allergic to both have a doubly bad reaction when they have a peanut butter and honey sammich.

OH, HUSH!!

People with bee allergies don't get hurt by HONEY! Do they??

Do they?

Do they?

Oh please no. That would be ... inhumanly hard.

To never know how beautifully deep and sweet honey is. To never know honey.

Honey is so much more than thick liquid sugar.

Here comes love, it's like honey, you can't buy it with money...

Tee hee, imagine if a bee allergy did mean you couldn't eat honey... man, that would sting.

...

Shit, I just googled "honey allergy" and there is such a thing. Whoa, sucks to be them :-(

That metaphor is so far off. I mean, what the fuck.

Where does Bernard Sumner live, that he can't buy honey with the kind of cash he has to throw around?

Now love, sure. That's another matter. It's not like honey. Certainly not in the cited respect.

Ha! That’s what occurs to me as well, when I’m listening to that line. However, in his defence, I guess…

Here comes love, it's nothing like honey, which actually costs $3.99 at the shop whereas love is slightly harder to quantify in most cases …

is a little more unwieldly than the original.

Oh my gosh, hey - I just realized I had a peanut butter and honey sandwich just last week! Are those the best or what?

As to the New Order line, I swear I once had come up with a snap-tight alternate take on the wording that kept the best but made it work. I can't recall it now. Lost it.

Not a terribly marketable skill, anyway. Post-release lyrics doctor.

Actually,

"Here comes love,
it's like honey
- you can buy
it with money"

- would be a marked improvement. Also, in terms of sammiches, peanut butter & butter & honey is where it's at.

*In the style of Beck*

"WHERE IT'S AT. WHERE IT'S AT. I've got two kinds of butter and a honey sandwich. WHERE IT'S AT. WHERE IT'S AT.

I say soak your bread in honey, first. THEN coat it in egg batter, and fry your so-called "french toast."
