Sympathy for the Bad Guys

You know sometimes, when I'm watching a movie? I find myself sympathizing with the criminals. You know? Because they've got such a sweet little operation going! And it's all going to work out perfect!

Until Steven Seagal gets involved.

And then it all comes crashing down.

I watch a lot of crime & murder programmes and somehow find myself making excuses and sympathizing with the criminals....I get a lot of stick from my friends about it, but i do believe its all down to how they were brought up...I like to think there is good inside everyone and people should be given a second chance.

I do believe there is good, I believe most people are good. Some people do prefer to be malign. But I truly do believe, even those are not beyond redemption. They do make it hard on the rest of us!

It's a tough show, having a job in the justice system. To be fair, to be merciful to the extent you can, while making your best determination to protect society. I don't know if I could do it.

And then of course, you have your invincible ponytailed chunk-style white guy martial arts action-hero types. It seems like those guys hardly EVER give the bad guys a second chance! All they want to do is bang peoples heads into furniture, snap elbows backwards. Ow!

I don't know if I'd want that job, either. My chief weapon is MERCY!
